Located in the serene rolling hills south of Newton, Iowa, the lush 212 acre McCague Memorial Grounds serve as home for the Christian Conference Center, a mission of the Christian Church in the Upper Midwest. Just 40 minutes east of Des Moines and right off Interstate 80, we offer a diverse range of meeting and
retreat experiences. Groups can choose to stay in the Main Lodge complete with well-appointed sleeping
rooms, or enjoy the fully equipped Retreat House, rough it a little in the cabins, or commune with nature in our ChiRho Hut area.
